Chef’s Recipe Studio is designed with privacy in mind. The app helps you capture and organize recipes while keeping your data private and under your control.

Information We Collect

User-Generated Content

Chef’s Recipe Studio stores the content you create, including:

• Recipes

• Photos of recipes

• Imported PDF files

This content is stored locally on your device and may be synchronized across your devices using Apple iCloud, if iCloud is enabled for the App.

Diagnostics

We may collect limited diagnostic information, such as:

• Crash logs

• Performance data

This information is used only to improve app stability and reliability.

Usage Analytics

We may collect limited usage telemetry about how features are used, such as screen views, button taps, import outcomes, and subscription or paywall events.

This telemetry may be transmitted to secure services operated by the developer for the purpose of understanding app performance, improving features, and troubleshooting issues.

Telemetry events may be associated with a randomly generated installation identifier so that events from the same device can be analyzed together. This identifier is not tied to your identity and is not used for tracking across apps or websites.

This information does not include recipe content and is not used to identify you personally, track you across apps or websites, or serve advertising.

Information We Do Not Collect

Chef’s Recipe Studio does not collect:

• Your name

• Your email address

• Your location

• Contact information

• Advertising identifiers

• Data used to track you across apps or websites

AI Processing

Chef’s Recipe Studio uses on-device, AI-assisted processing to help identify ingredients and instructions from images and PDFs.

• All AI processing occurs entirely on your device

• No recipe content is sent to external AI services

• No recipe data is uploaded to servers for AI processing

iCloud Synchronization

If enabled, Chef’s Recipe Studio uses Apple iCloud to synchronize your recipes across your devices.

• iCloud synchronization is private to your Apple ID

• We do not have access to your iCloud account or synced content

• iCloud can be enabled or disabled at any time through your device’s settings

Data Sharing

Chef’s Recipe Studio does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.

Recipe data may be synchronized via Apple iCloud solely to keep your content available across your own devices. This synchronization is governed by Apple’s iCloud privacy policies.

Data Storage

Recipe data is stored locally on your device and, if enabled, synchronized using Apple iCloud. If you delete the App, locally stored data is removed from your device. iCloud data is managed by Apple and subject to your iCloud settings.

Children’s Privacy

Chef’s Recipe Studio is not directed toward children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date.
